INTRODUCTION:
In the verses we looked at last Sunday the LORD exhorted His people to flee from the pagan nations and to return to Jerusalem and live wholly for Him. In this morning’s verses we come to the end of chapter 2 and the end of the third night vision. In these verses the prophet records two additional ways God’s people ought to respond to His promises, they are in song and in silence. These two responses may seem opposed to one another, but both have a proper place in worship.

INTRODUCTION:
It is not often that we turn to the pages of the minor prophets, or the twelve as they are called in Hebrew. Beginning with this Sunday we will be in the book of Zechariah for however long it takes us to get through it. Zechariah covers a large portion of time, from the return from exile in Babylon until the glorious reign of the Messiah at the end of the age. Zechariah is second only to Isaiah in the writings about the coming Messiah.
INTRODUCTION:
For the next two weeks we will be departing from the book of Romans and focusing on the triumphal entry and the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
